Librarians, teachers and bookshop buyers use a variety of methods to assess and purchase new books. How can you make your books discoverable and easier to purchase? The foundation of all book marketing is getting your book information right, and sending that book information out into the world in good time and in good order. How will your book be categorised? How and who will ensure that the information is best managed? Welcome to the wonderful world of book metadata. This session will also feature a preview of a new book information portal from the Singapore Book Publishers Association.
