Put your language skills to the test at the Translation Hackathon jointly organised by Pratham Books and the Singapore Book Council. In the hackathon, we challenge you to translate a picture book into your mother tongue!

This session is supported by the National Translation Committee.

About the Hackathon

Participants will translate a picture books into your language of choice (Chinese, Malay, Tamil). There will be an introductory segment before going into the translation segment. Completed translations will be uploaded onto Pratham Book's StoryWeaver, a platform offering open access books committed to committed to providing children with the very first step to literacy acquisition–books.
