What Attendees Say

This interview is so fun. I commend the moderator, Ms. Denise Tan. She really does her thing and researched a lot about the speaker. Also, Ms. Christina is so genuine and honest about everything she says. <3
Jennilyn Zuniega, who attended “Upclose with Christina Soontornvat” during AFCC 2021
Very informative and interesting, especially the authenticity of stories mentioned by our speakers and the criteria in developing digital books.
Besy Agamat, on the session “Children’s Books in the Time of Crisis and Change” at AFCC 2020
Thank you [keynote speaker] Jason [Chin] for these great insights. I have always enjoyed illustrations alongside the stories in a book. Today, Jason has given me another reason to pay closer attention [to] the meaning they add to the story.
Junaidah, who attended AFCC 2021’s “Keynote: Reimagine, Rebuild, Reignite
The points suggested by all of the speakers were concrete, inspiring and doable.
Reynaldo Flores Jr., who attended “Creative Crunch: Creating Within and Above Crisis” at AFCC 2020
Your session about picture books... were so inspiring, like today, you literally drew me in and I look forward to AFCC every year.
Evelyn Sue Wong, who attended “Building Resilience in Children During Crisis” at AFCC 2020
Thank you for this great presentation. I loved the poems you presented. 😊
