Picture books present a non-threatening approach for adults to help children unpack tough and possibly life-altering emotions such as emotions, illness, death and many more. Participants will discuss the relevance and the impact these stories have on young readers and work on extending each narrative into hands-on activities that can further anchor the intangible messages to empower and heal.
