Asian Festival of Children’s Content 2025 : Discovery

AFCC is important because it nurtures emerging voices, champions Asian stories, and builds a supportive community for storytellers. It inspired me to keep creating and reminded me that stories have the power to shape the future.

Each year that I attend AFCC, I gain a better understanding of each country and their culture and the importance of books for all children. I am always amazed to find such a wealth of insight, wisdom and guidance at the AFCC. It makes one feel more connected and part of the greater community.

Talking about children's books are like living their life. I have enjoyed my time at AFCC. I hope the festival continues in the future too, as it's a great start and excellent platform for emerging authors as well as established ones.

Children's Literature tends to be invisible in society despite its importance in nurturing children. So are the people involved in the area. I would like to thank AFCC for creating a space for us to share and to shine

I enjoyed speaking at AFCC 2025 and meeting many likeminded educators, writers, and publishers who want to promote Singapore stories. I really appreciated the warm conversations, insights exchanged, and the passion, purpose, and drive that everyone brought to the festival.
