21—24 May 2026

The first-ever Children’s Booker Prize will be launched in 2026 and it introduced something groundbreaking: Children as judges. How do children judge books and what is a winning book to them? In this lively panel session, three young passionate readers will take the stage to share:

  • What makes a book truly stand out to them
  • How they think and feel as they read
  • What kind of stories they wish authors would write more about
