In today’s technology-filled and fast-changing environment, Mindful Storytime highlights the importance of mindfulness and slowing down to imagine and create the world of tomorrow. The programme includes a storytelling of Dancing Devas with grasshopper mascot Zazu and a fun mindfulness activity to uplift and relax.

Sophie Lizeray (Singapore)
Sophie Lizeray is a best-selling author-illustrator of Wandering Angkor, Fisso’s World in Cambodia and Dancing Devas, illustrated books on Southeast Asia for adults and children. She earned degrees in science, humanities and art (and probably doodled a bit too much on her class notes). As a bicultural woman, Sophie creates stories that intertwine cultures, for the little girl in her to find her reflection in books, and for all readers to feel seen in our vibrant, multicultural and fast-paced world. She also weaves well-being practices such as Mindfulness and Yoga into her author and wellness events.
