Join us on a whimsical journey to find Qiqi, the leader of the magpies, while rediscovering the Chinese classic of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl and its associated customs! In this hands-on session, you’ll craft Qiao Guo pastries shaped like the adorable Qiqi and gain a deeper appreciation for the values behind this delightful snack.

Lynn Wong is the visionary founder of heritage consultancy Bridging Generations delivering impactful work that respects the past, moves the present and inspires the future. An award-winning documentary filmmaker, she is also author of Reviving Qixi: Singapore’s Forgotten Seven Sisters’ Festival which is shortlisted for the prestigious NUS Singapore History Prize. Her latest children's book Finding Qiqi piques young minds to uncover forgotten traditions while igniting a sense of discovery, with beautiful illustrations in the book coming to life through interactive experiences such as hands-on Qiao Guo pastry workshops and other customs.
