Parents and children will turn picture books into imaginative worlds using drawing, model-making, and creative play—discovering how storytelling and art can spark imagination, collaboration, and meaningful learning together.
Lena Lok (Singapore)
Lena Lok is an arts educator, illustrator, and lecturer at Republic Polytechnic’s Diploma in Arts & Entertainment Production Management, where she teaches Arts Management and Production Design. She brings over 16 years of experience in designing creative learning programmes for children and families, having collaborated with leading institutions such as the Singapore Art Museum, National Gallery Singapore, and National Museum of Singapore. Lena has played a key role in shaping immersive arts initiatives through her past leadership with Art Wonderland and Amazing Art Shuttle, and continues to contribute to their development in a consulting capacity. Her practice centres on creating meaningful art experiences that integrate storytelling, illustration, and community engagement. Passionate about nurturing imagination through the arts, Lena explores how visual storytelling can connect young audiences to culture, creativity, and self-expression.
