Closing Performance: Sang Nila Utama Bangsawan Pantomime

The Sang Nila Utama Bangsawan Pantomime tells of the lesser-known story of Sang Nila Utama’s family, their journeys and the motivations behind Sang Nila Utama’s landing in Temasek.

Be acquainted to Raja Suran and Sang Sa Purba, the legendary ancestors of Sang Nila Utama. The rich and colourful storytelling is told in a captivating experimental Bangsawan format, incorporating elements of a pantomime show.

The cast consists of young Bangsawan performers, all trained at the Opera Academy - showcasing their integrative art forms of acting, rhythmic poetry recital, and creative movements in a contemporarised Bangsawan style.
