Our illustrators must think on their feet and let their imaginations run wild — all while coping with pressure of a live audience as they bring their own interpretations of the story to life.

Chloe Chang

Chloe Chang (Singapore)

Chloe Chang is an award winning illustrator based in sunny Singapore, where she spends her time reading, drawing, and applying sunblock lotion. Chloe has since worked in both television and print as an illustrator and character designer. She was awarded the inaugural Illustrator of the Year in 2024.

Claire Low

Claire Low (Singapore)

Claire is a designer and artist with a passion for visual storytelling across mediums. She is also the illustrator of the Southeast Asian fantasy comic Tiger Girls. When she is not in the rabbit holes of a hyperfixation deep dive, she draws fantasy-inspired works on her art account on Instagram: @comatomato.

Wastana Haikal

Wastana Haikal (Indonesia)

Wastana (he/him) is a visual artist based in Bandung, Indonesia. After graduating in Visual Communication Design from the Bandung Institute of Technology he decided to become full-time illustrator.

He loves to tell a story, and he is always creating story-driven works from fantasy-themed to slices of life with vibrant and eclectic elements. He inspired by music, movies, Indonesian culture, fashion and most of all from his surroundings: nature, personal experience, travelling, people on the street, animals, how people interact and the list goes on. Life inspires him.
