• Q&A with Ashraf and Farid on their experiences and thoughts about BBoy Brothers, led by the author (You are welcome to ask them questions too!)

Teachers and Librarians, come fall in love with some spectacular speakers at the Closetful of Books speed-dating session at the AFCC!
You'll get 3 minutes with each author and illustrator and they'll tell you all about their books, what they hope to achieve with each visit to your school and how their workshops and talks are conducted. It is said love, like fortune, favours the brave so come join us on 7 Sept, 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
Authors - Andy Chua, Quek Hong Shin, Sim Ee Waun, Leila Boukarim, Lin Xiaoling (Singapore Children's Society)

Once Upon A Singapore… Traders
While flipping through Grandpa’s album, Aloysius and Grandpa are magically transported to 1900s Singapore. Aloysius, having grown up in a land of iPhones and movie theatres, finds himself in a foreign land, where cameras travel around on wheels and take two weeks to arrive! With Grandpa as his tour guide, Aloysius explores olden Singapore and meet traders who once did a roaring trade on its streets.
Come join us at this super-fun interactive workshop with authors Alan Bay and Tina Sim!
