Singapore has a tropical rainforest climate with abundant rainfall. Temperatures hovers around 30°C, not rising above 31-33°C during the day, while temperatures drops to below 23°C at night.
transportation
The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) is the quickest way to get around Singapore, operating from 5:20am to midnight. While you can purchase single-trip tickets, it is more convenient to get the EZ-link card, which saves you the hassle of buying and refunding tickets for your journeys. The EZ-link card can be bought at the control station at each MRT station. You can find a map of the MRT network on this website.
Taxis are only allowed to stop at designated taxi stands. They are relatively affordable and always use the meter, but there could be surcharges at certain times of the day. More information about the surcharges.

Please note that from 30 May to 4 June 2016, the hotel will charge a peak period surcharge of S$60.00 nett per room per night. Otherwise the corporate rate for Hotel Grand Pacific is S$200 nett for single occupancy and S$215 nett for twin / double occupancy inclusive of breakfast.
