Avery Fischer Udagawa

Avery Fischer Udagawa currently parents, writes and translates Japanese children’s literature into English. She lives in Bangkok with her bicultural (Japanese/American) family. She contributes the column Four Worlds to Literary Mama and co-leads the SCBWI Tokyo Translation Group. Her translations from Japanese include the middle grade novel J-Boys: Kazuo’s World, Tokyo, 1965 and a story in the young adult anthology Tomo.
