Australian author Sally Murphy, OAM, known for acclaimed children’s books like Queen Narelle and Pearl Verses the World, also contributes to education with works like Teaching Poetry for Pleasure and Purpose. Awarded an OAM in 2022, she’s recognized for her contributions to children’s literature and education. Sally works at Curtin University in the School of Education, focusing on literacy education and children’s literature.
