The Children’s Literature Lecture features a keynote lecture conducted in Mandarin, with live interpretation in English. 

As globalisation and modernisation becomes increasingly prevalent in contemporary society, books have transformed in certain ways. Yet in some ways, they have maintained traditional elements. Famous author, Mei Zihan, takes a closer look at how picture books in China have changed over time, how they continue to complement the beauty of stories, and the immense role they play in publishing markets in China and around the world.
