“Use your words” Early Childhood Educators everywhere support young children in their attempts to make sense of the world. Learning to understand and use oral and written language is a critical task. This keynote will present early literacy research and teaching practices that address the importance of connecting linguistic, cognitive, affective, and self regulatory behaviors to early literacy development.
