The session explores the importance of infusing geekiness into fiction and highlights how fandoms have evolved from very niche markets to mainstream media today. By using superheroes and gaming as pop culture elements, the talk delves into how these elements help YA become more relatable and compelling for all ages and audiences.

This session is only available via AFCC Video-on-Demand after the festival. Please check back for more information.
