AFCC Book Launches
Calling all authors and publishers, apply now to launch your book at AFCC!
While best efforts will be made to accommodate all requests for a book launch, a selection will be made based on the application’s relevance to AFCC due to the limited number of available openings.
General Information:
- Applications are open to all books published between June 2022 and May 2023.
- Books to be launched must be relevant to AFCC’s mission of celebrating and promoting quality content for children.
- As only a limited number of slots are available, these will be allocated at the organiser’s discretion.
- Priority will be given to books that showcase excellence in children’s book publishing.
- The book launches will take place at the AFCC Book Fair from 25 to 28 May 2023.
- All book launch slots are allocated in a single 1-hour slot inclusive of any set-up or pack-up time required.
- Logistical support for the venue will be provided upon confirmation of the application.
- Details of all confirmed launches will be publicised on the AFCC website and other collaterals where applicable.
- Each applicant is strongly encouraged to conduct publicity and marketing campaigns of their own event.

Book Launch Application Guidelines
- Only books/products that are or will be published or released from June 2022 to May 2023 will be accepted for consideration. Books that were previously launched at AFCC 2022 will not be considered for launches at AFCC 2023.
- The sale of books during the launch can only be made through the official bookstore for AFCC 2023 or via a booth at the AFCC Book Fair.
- Applicants are required to submit details of the book, publisher, author and illustrator where applicable.
- An extract of the book should accompany the submission but a physical copy of the book should also be submitted to the Singapore Book Council before the deadline for submissions.
- The closing date for submissions for the application is 7 April 2023, 6pm (Singapore time)
- To apply for a book launch slot at AFCC 2023, please complete the online form by 7 April, 6pm. Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
