Associate Professor Seetha Lakshmi is the Assistant Head (Tamil) of the Asian Languages and Cultures Academic Group at the National Institute of Education, Singapore. Appointed as a trainer in 1997, she has been a leading figure in the teaching and research of Standard Spoken Tamil, Curriculum Review, Innovative Tamil pedagogy for the Tamil diaspora, Corpus Data and Teaching Tamil through Media.
