Join Tusitala to explore immersive technologies in a playful, hands-on and non-techy way. Take a look at various forms of digital storytelling, and walk through existing tools and techniques in the media landscape. Then use mahjong paper, sticky tape and smartphones to create a Virtual Reality experience.
No programming experience is required; just bring along your smartphones. Laptops not required, but nice to have.
Pre-event preparation: To maximise participation time for the session, please come with a book excerpt that has an evocative scene - 1) main or background action, 2) interesting characters, 3) rich or unique environment with potential for a lot of visual detail.
