Say No, Walk Out, Tell a Trusted Adult! (Workshop)
Using Reading Resources to Equip Young Children with Body Safety Skills

Lin Xiaoling

Body safety skills are essential skills for the prevention of sexual abuse of children. These involve teaching children to differentiate between right and wrong actions, and to tell a trusted adult if sexual abuse happens. This workshop will introduce participants to a children’s storybook on sexual abuse prevention, initiated by the Singapore Children’s Society. Learn how to use storytelling and other interactive resources to help children pick up such skills.
