In a nation of 185 languages, multilingual publishing is a necessity. This talk focuses on the issues and challenges that publishers face in the Philippines in the move towards multilingual education and publishing in the different mother tongues. The talk will be done from the perspective of Adarna House, the Philippines' first children's publishing house, which published children's literature in 5 new Philippine languages in 2014.
