ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Holly Thompson is author of the YA verse novels Orchards (APALA Asian/Pacific American Award for Literature) and The Language Inside, and the picture book The Wakame Gatherers, and she edited Tomo: Friendship Through Fiction – An Anthology of Japan Teen Stories. Regional advisor for SCBWI Japan, she teaches at Yokohama City University.
